Romantic Emerald Elopement
Updated: Apr 24, 2020
There is something to be said about the color green. Not like Kermit green, but royal emerald green. It's so majestic yet elegant at the same time. You can dress it up with other rich colors like, navy and black. Or bring out the bright colors of coral, pinks and purple.
Events by D. Nicole partnered with other local industry professionals to put together an amazing shoot! A palette of emerald green, gold, and white accents were the perfect combo for this couple. An added bonus was that this was an all women vendor team!!!
When I design weddings for couples that love to impress; I try not to skimp on the details. We focused on adding unique elements to the day. The bride's dress from Bridal Parlour from Shiloh, Illinois was simple and sexy all on it's own, but we paired it with a stunning cape that took the entire dress up a notch.
The groom, dapper as he was, wore a emerald green velvet suit jacket. His lapel was adorned with a gold lion and diamond encrusted brooch.
Our table details consisted of a velvet, emerald green table linen, gold chivari chairs, gold chargers and black stemmed glassware from A Classic Party Rental in Indianapolis, Indiana. Each place setting had a custom menu bag that held a bread for dinner. What a fantastic way to double use your menu card! Thanks to Barrio Letter Press for all the amazing paper stationery for the day.
Our super tall flower centerpiece and fireplace draping was provided by A Bride's Choice Florist. The gorgeous greenery, white roses and white hydrangea centerpiece was the perfect accent to the table. We finished off the look with small bud vases with roses and votive candles.
