4 Tips for Setting Your Wedding Date
Updated: Apr 27
1. Season - Consider the time of year you want to get married HEAVILY. This will help drive your vision. It also helps you start to focus in on color palette, theme, dress design, etc.
2. Vision - Are you an outside ceremony kinda couple? Make sure your date falls in a month where it's not miserable for your guests to be outside. Or you may need to consider adding some sort of shade to the budget.
3. Holidays - Think twice! Depending on the holiday, some guests make vacation plans around these dates well in advance. You don't want half your guest list not to make it because they've made other arrangements.
4. Vendors - The great ones book up quickly. You may have to keep a flexible date to ensure you get the photographer, videographer, or venue you've always had your heart set on. The last thing you want is to be stuck with a vendor you aren't truly excited about.
These are just a few tips to help you get started. As your Planner, we talk through all of these things to figure out the best date and time for your big day. Head over to Instagram to check out all our weddings from each of the 2019 seasons.
